Most of my life has been spent in Kingston 6, St Andrew, Jamaica residing in a quiet,upscale neighbourhood. My home is situated on approximately one acre of well-fruited landscaped land.I have two ackee trees, one breadfruit tree, six mango trees,one nasberry tree and one cherry tree. Adjacent to the house is a specially prepared,rectangular plot of land with many banana and plantain suckers.My neighbourhood does not have many homes which is a cul-de-sac. Most of the homes on my road are situated on one to one and a half acres of land. My neighbourhood is a very small, close-knit community where I grew up being a part of the families of my closest neighbours. I spent many days playing with my neighbours' children.I grew up with a strong sense of community spirit as my community frequently organised street barbeques to raise funds to help the poor and underprivileged in the nearby communities.
